These, dear readers, are the gnarly, bloodthirsty and brutal thugs of Boston Bike Polo. Or at least a part of the scene, with a new entrant to boot.
More court-side portrait work/testing, as ya’ll who’ve been following recently will be plenty familiar with. My main frustration is with the wind and its pesky disallowing of reliable use of umbrellas and other modifiers on the flashes. And so I’m left to work with this very harsh light.
Which is cool in its own way. If nothing else it’s a useful exercise in wrangling bare flashes and trying to do it well. But really I’m waiting for a warm, breezeless afternoon to wreak aesthetic havoc an all these kids. None of the other shots really stood out today, sorry Boston ‘folks. Too rushed in the posing.
He’ll be riding soon enough.
