Many David Foster Wallacian discoveries today. An unsolicited connection on the Green Line from a friend of a friend. Some deep research by this fellow here looking at relations between an obscure essay on root psychological programming within us and the Samizdat from Infinite Jest. Eerie findings, to say the least. Unsettling in ways that cannot be reasoned out into any renewed comfort.
Also some wonderful visual sightings whilst sitting on the couch across from the other couched man. We are an apartment of couches. Four in all, I think. And wonderful rectangles from door frames and other passages.
Musings on literature, discussions of entertainment, delvings into uncertain speculation about human needs, the nature of loneliness, etc. Voyeurism as a possible remedy for loneliness? Just a theory. An anonymous connection to others (e.g. readers of this blog), that I’m able to count through stat trackers but otherwise have no contact with.
And Steve Job’s biography now at my disposal.
