That which is spring break is drawing near. I suspect it’ll be like most weeks, except with a bit less time in class (all of what, 6 hours?). A trip to NYC (to photograph, to reunite, to absorb, etc…) might kick it off. We’ll see.
I may have exhausted the photographic possibilities of this nightly viewed hair salon. Today, my second time shooting it, was a struggle. Nearly every angle I’d already hit on my first pass. But this still came through, and garsh darnit I like it.
To quench my unsatiated hunger for images of darkened hair studios I just walked another fifteen feet and shot through the windows of the next one. The little commercial district near where I live is essentially a big mass of hair cutteries. Dozens, maybe even billions of them line the streets.
But only this one has the night blue light.
