Boiling

The moguls are finished, the carves are behind me, the corduroy fields all reduced to plains of ice. Overlooking a hundred yards of moving walkways in Denver’s tent airport now before my flight home to the 8:00AM class, where coffee will soothe my bloodshot eyes.

No hot tubs in Boston. None that I know of anyway. I’ve got a little porch that I could perhaps put a hot pot of water on, soak a foot for a couple minutes perhaps. Unlikely.

But Steamboat. Land of the hot tub. Hot pool. Hot spring. Hot hot. Hard not to fall victim to them – especially their visual delights.

Homeward.
