The clock reads 0:00. Class begins soon. Realizing furthermore that I hardly identify as a student, though admittedly I feel a sizable disconnect from gus-the-9-to-5’er that I was for the last six months. Reinforced by hanging out with a bunch of professors at an art opening sans student crowds, then heading out with more non-student buddies.
I’m very much looking to do formal headshots of the entire Art + Design faculty at Northeastern. I envision something in this stylistic vein, but created with my evolving strobe-laden setup instead of this patchy track lighting in the gallery space amidst encompassing socialization.
Something to finagle. Something completely in line with my general ruminations of strategic photographic positioning of myself. Maybe that business strategy textbook is going to my head. Maybe even for the better.
On the operations level I hope only for a solid night’s rest.
