Back in Boston, back in Polo, back in the good company of Eastern Coastal amigos. Stuck briefly in an unfortunate competition between two excellent photos, a battle for immortality that was eventually awarded to this capture. The other will get Facebooked around, spread to the interested parties, but not written about. (Aw heck, click here to see it.)
I’ve noticed over the months how much this super-wide glass exemplifies the ceilings in spaces. At times I use it very intentionally, but often it’s a curious byproduct of the intended composition.
The ornaments glint on, but the tree I’m less hopeful for. And her, she’s doing great, casually documented here just before my departure (one of those hold-on-gotta-photograph-this-k? moments). Her final night before her first flight-aided business trip. A new era indeed.
Hong Kong connections keep building, brewing and stewing.
