First Ethiopian lunch, second meeting with a Brooklyn acquaintance, second time I’ve formally photographed environmentally around a couch, no thirds today.
A session of much symmetry to be sure. This somewhat austere, sparsely decorated apartment of a friend kept presenting opportunities to play with rectangular geometries. Windows, air vents, light switches, couch cushions, etc.
At first glance I’m most smitten with this image. It works. Simple as that. For the first glance. On the third deeper look however there’s a whole lotta’ nitpicking I could do… I’ll leave that for you to discover on your own if you so desire. But for now I’m just going to sit back and enjoy.
Jane Austen, quite the writer indeed (her tome in her hands).
