An off-hand comment in a text message spurred the realization that, for yours truly, this is the latest and greatest transition year that I’ll be undertaking to date. It started with the unrememberable nudge from toddler to pupil, jumps from Elementary to Middle to High, the more directionally intentional leap to University, each with their guarantees of a handful of structured years ahead. The shackles of formal education will soon be cut, and unless I’m busybusybusy I’ll be enslaved in a limbo of uncertainty with a degree in hand.

Not entirely sure how this image fits this revelation. To the graphic designers out there, I promise, I’ll get better. That’s part of 2012. To the Hong Kong based hiring managers, I promise, my life scope isn’t limited to visual creation (heck, spent the entire morning pouring through the NYTimes’ business section).

The year of choice, choice of what to apply my busy to.
