Transitioned into a different cabin environment today, still on a lake, and now in Wisconsin. Got my sixth or seventh consecutive day of skating in, again on a lake smoothly frozen over with a dusting of snow concealing the ice beneath. And a long sauna, followed by a very short head-dunking dip into the frozen lake (they cut out a section with a chainsaw and lower a ladder).
I’ve been spoiled over break with an abundance of portrait subjects at my every turn (and with bountiful cookies, wine, and other goodness [intentionally vague]). But here! Here we have me asking Rosie and Jeff for a quick portrait. En route to our destination we enjoyed a most pleasant meal at their establishment, and I couldn’t help but ask for a shot.
Work environment portraiture has been of much interest as of late, and I figured this was a pretty low-pressure place to finally jump into it.
Now to bed to mend my mildly mishap-stricken flesh.
