Further planned portfolio revisions have led me deeper into the silent depths of my data, the billions of micro-magnetized flecks on platters that exist in darkness, spinning endlessly with my visualized life on board. Here a capture from last January’s indoor polo tournament in the dead of Boston winter.
It’s from something of a series where I haggle my fellow polo comrades into riding tight circles around me while I furiously lay into the shutter behind a fisheye lens that… well, does this. A technique admittedly borrowed to some degree from a man in Shanghai who got me me to ride around him in a similar fashion before a race (LOOKATME!CLICKCLICKCLICK!). Never did get those shots from him…
Whatever the case, a fine gentleman here from the southern Ciudad de la York Nueva whom I must’ve played with first in late 2007. We’re all gettin’ old. And there just might be another tournament this January/February/Colduary to bring us together again.
To enlightened portfolios, to Tuesday.
Gus, i’d love a copy of this. thanks man!
