A good day of work, an excellent meal with abundant cheer, and lastly a two hour (each way) drive to Foxwoods Casino for 45 minutes of ring 1-2 NL Hold’em? Check. Played well, the odds godds looked favorably on me, and the pockets are fuller. But rural Connecticut just ain’t the same as Macau when it comes to casinos (I haven’t yet Vegased).
This whole coffee lid project, if I can call it that, has really caught my eye. It’s personal, in that these lids protect my dear brew on the way up the stairs to work. They’re stained with traces of that which helped sustain some semblance of awakeness within my mornings.
Perhaps more than anything, they’re not daunting to shoot. I don’t need to windex and dust them. I shoot’em tripod-free, camera in one hand and a light in the other (very easy), and … well, they’re full of little surprises (see the shadow… I love it).
To Friday!
