Skyline from a Hill

Today was a long, wonderful day of glamourous light. One (in particular) might even say it was beauteous.

The pictured amigo at my side, a longtime friend in town for the weekend, mentioned that whilst I had plenty of photos of her (I can’t help it), there weren’t really any of the two of us together. And thus the objective was to do a bit of double portraiture.

Our respective bags at our sides, legs crossed over, gazes outward and hands overlapped. I can’t believe it now, looking at this, I didn’t center us on the bench. But alas that’s but one of a million details that I overlooked, consumed instead with other compositional matters.

Weekends.
