Made it out to an amateur fight night this lovely Saturday. Something of a qualifier at a local gym for members to get into perhaps the next level of bouts next month. All’s I know about boxing is that it’s months of punishing workouts (an understatement) that culminates in a couple of minutes of footwork and blows.
Though there was dispute over whether the downed man was hit after time was called, whatever the case we’ve got one down, one up. Nobody brought shovels and I’m not sure there were any convenient dirt plots nearby, so thankfully this guy got up and avoided a weekend burial/disposal.
Lots more to pour through, a handful of good ones to be sure.
