Another view of the weekend aftermath on that oh-so-peaceful morning after. Every hard elevated surface had its new skin of bottles covering it. Easily cleared into the recycling bins, little parasitic bumps that have no defense against a swooping forearm except for a clamoring of noise from their various impacts.
In a way this is almost an interesting contrast to the highly controlled studio images I’ve been producing of bottles. Of perfect snippets of light adorning the stylized contours of the bottles. Here it’s just blanketed light and abundant amounts of containers. No special attention given to any one.
The stillness of it all is again what works for me. After such persistent and continuous energy during the party itself, this utter calm in natural illumination is most serene.
Storefronts are next, and already underway.
