Collared

A post from the road here, drawing on yesterday’s pool of selfs. A most varied shoot (see previous post), but all resolved in a time less than the washing of a load of laundry. Time as measured by activity.

What I’m not sure about here is what’s being said, communicated by both this expression and the overall photo itself. Given a lack of context (not accompanying an article or adorning a profile), it’s… so widely interpretable as to be anything it needs but nothing at all if there is a lack of need. Time as stopped.

Breakfast at seven.

  1. What is your background in this shot? I can’t wrap my head around what it is fully.

  2. P.S. No pun intended đŸ˜›

  3. Travis – It’s the gold foily side of a zip disc, 42″ I believe. Plenty of inconsistencies in the surface, little wrinkles and whatnot, so it caught the light like this.

  4. Ah yes, now I can see it. Lovely sir.
