In the Wash Closet

A rainy commute, some wetted hair, a shirt thrown on when the guests arrived. A bit of further lighting practice, trying to emulate some recent work I’d seen by a real professional who had done headshots of formerly imprisoned gang members. This, dear readers, is not the look he achieved. I thought I knew how to replicate it, but alas not today.

Nothing too crazy going on here really. I’d prefer to not have the shadow at right, cast from the headpiece. But the bathroom studio, the only room with enough mirrors to practice/define facial expressions, does not have a whole lotta space in it.

More expressionlessness really. There were a couple with mouth wide open, screamly in emotion, but I wasn’t too into it for posting.

Working on it…
