Cabbing
Super brief post tonight. The occasional burp summons flavors of lobster, oyster, shrimp, and house-provided rose champagne. Panopticon Gallery celebrated a great 40th anniversary, and along with it an epic show with dozens of its artists represented throughout the years. Gus-made video forthcoming.
Fashionable girls ride in taxis. That’s what’s up here. I even flushed it all with my love of magenta tint.
I like the driver’s gaze outward, outside of the wheeled cage he commands on undoubtedly long shifts of trawling through Manhattan grids of asphalt. I recall him honking at a car trying to turn into the mob of pedestrians in the crosswalk, enthusiastically suggesting “SQUEEZE THEM JEEZ.” I found myself agreeing with him. Spoken like a true professional.
To Friday, bike polo, and new eras of carbon track forks.
