Another damsel dredged up from the seafloor. /archive. Same thing. Maybe I should rename my all-encompassing archive folder “seafloor.” The tens of thousands of images that have settled down, sunk into the darkness, magnetically etched into the depths of a hard drive platter.

Again a complete reinterpretation of the original image. I made a point to sift through all the more/less reject files from the shoot, looking to crop and edit one into something presentable. The eyes were a bit wonky in this particular capture, coupled with less than perfection in the pattern of total hairage. But cropping down to this makes quite an interesting save.

Dancers in flight, bounding across seamless gray paper with blinding strobes popping all about. Continuing on yesterday’s thought, I’d love to get into shooting this type of content again. Maybe when the school year reignites in the coming weeks – right now campus and the photo lab are totally dead.
