Quick post today. I have three days’ worth of daily shooting on my camera, but have not had the time to empty it onto the computar and edit it all. And so, I present, SIDEWALK & STREET!
I’ve been shooting a fair amount of this lately. Turning the camera down, away from the people and objects that fill the space, focusing instead on the boundaries that we exist within. The solid, immovable and, to our short-lived existence, permanent objects that we interact with. The sidewalks we prance upon, the roads we swerve through, the walls of buildings we see but never touch.
Man-hole covers, industrial paint, and man-made stone is the name of the game. And the more I see it, isolate it, the more interesting it becomes.
Just an observation from a walker.
