Darkness Exploration

Photo creation hiatus continues into day two, but that’s ok. Had some great polo post-work, and technically I squeezed some shots in en route to the office this morning. I’m not used to walking the city so early in the morning, so it’s been great to see everything in a different light.

Fourth of July product here, fireworks and their cloudy exhaust together, blurred and abstracted into something entirely different. First thing I thought of was spotlights mounted on deep sea submarines. Perhaps conjuring visions of The Life Aquatic (one of my favorite films).

Honestly and truly, I could post from this collection of images for the next two weeks – the more I look through it the more I’m enamored with it. But alas, I’ll be sure to fire up the ‘ol Canon one of these days.
