Airplane pillows and blankets for lumbar support over the atlantic, an hour-long wait to re-print a boarding pass, and an excellent transnational conversation with the CFO of a tire company. Air Canada nearly comped me another day in Spain along with a fistful of Euros, but the flight wasn’t overbooked after all. Home again, and tomorrow the kids across the street will yell and scream and radiate their youth into my open windows.
This is from a series of similar images shot on my longest walk through Spain. All have vanishing points, blow-out sun/sky, and this extreme coloration. Also, I didn’t break stride to shoot any of them. The key is to shoot between the steps, to draw out the foot for an extra fraction of hang time.
Five days of American summer remain.
BONUS!!! A just-released music video by my room mate, the man behind MAGNET & STEEL. Watch it on YouTube, full screen’d and in HD! (not in this puny embedded player)
