The summer solstice was yesterday, but today the city was still plenty luminous after nine. Catching ads on dubbed-over Spanish television out of the corner of my eye has me impressed by their quality (catchy and attractive) relative to their American brethren that are admittedly skipped over in my living room.
Found myself shooting reflections like this all day, one of a couple photographic projects/themes I’ll continue to explore this trip. Longtime followers may remember some of this work that I’ve posted previously, but it’s been a while. For me it’s all about visual complexity, an incredible double-layered density that, when done well, is for me the essence of delight.
Sweet Europe.
Madrid! Oh you lucky young man. Is this a vakay or another school assignment?
Entirely vacation. Though I’m making note of potential future video/photo clients (hotels, restaurants, etc.) Very lucky indeed!
