Made it out to a landmark theatre for a showing of the Tree of Life this evening. Cinematically wonderful, pure high-quality eye candy from that angle. Incredible and highly uncomfortable tension at times, which when laid on thick I would snap into some self awareness where I’d realize I was feeling stressed and on-edge, at which point I’d start trying to figure out exactly how the visuals and sound were working to torment me so.
Also reviewed the near entirety of the circus work I shot over nearly a dozen rehearsals of a dance production, during which time I stumbled upon this. There may shortly be revealed a set from this work, most likely over on my portfolio site.
Tomorrow is rooftops. Rooftops and footage of ballgames.
