Open Doors

Yesterday was a day of polo. A gaggle of NYC brutes made the trip into our fair city to challenge the Boston folk to an hour of non-stop (ok, one intermission) intensity fraught with line changes and goals aplenty. Some sub-par goal tending on my part and otherwise less than A-game among the crew led to a 15-13 loss… we’ll challenge on their turf soon.

I found myself shooting a bunch of video, framing shots photographically like always and then trying to work in some kind of motion. Occasionally, as was the case with this capture, I would snap off some photos before hitting the red record button.

Polo bikes, mallets, knee pads, wheelcovers, etc… The “open doors” refers to the fact that we left the swinging doors open, a first at this court, to facilitate expedient rotations of players as needed.

Next time.
