The Tall Grass

Summer is on the verge of a verdant explosion of growth and color, replete with lovely wafts of the smell of blooming itself. And tending to this veritable plot of splendor is none other than dear Mother herself. To all the mothers a cheers to Mother’s Day, and here’s to a season of prosperous gardens and dirt ridden hands.

Photographically this photo speaks to a phenomenon that we’ve all experienced – reliving a moment that was entirely forgotten through the image. This piece of time would otherwise have been lost in my head, disconnected from my most conscious prodding. But here it is in vivid detail.

To photography, to Mothers.
