This post will be nothing short of a full blown plug for Panopticon Gallery’s latest show entitled Instant Connections that focuses exclusively on Polaroid photography. Everything from those familiar consumer-grade handheld squares to 20×24″ behemoths cranked out of the world’s largest Polaroid cameras.
5:30-7:30 inside Hotel Commonwealth, across the street from the Citgo sign here in Boston.
Warhols, a larger-than-life Chuck Close, Vik Muniz, Gustav Hoiland (maybe not), and on and on and on…
Pictured at right and at reflected left is Jim Fitts, curator extraordinaire, adamant photography collector, and critiquer of les works des Hoiland (me), for which I am very thankful. Together with gallery owner Jason Landry, these two have already had a big impact on my approach to photography and will no doubt shape my artistic approach to it in the coming months as I continue to work with them.
Come say hi and grab some wine!
