(Welcome newcomers – this is a daily photo blog featuring my work and my words. Take a look around, and cheers!)

Interviewing with a consulting firm tomorrow morning for a potential next co-op. After devouring their website my interest in the field of marketing has been rekindled into a blazing firebomb of excitement. Something about consumer insights and the psychological/behavioral backend to purchase decisions that really strikes a chord in my brain when paired with the business end of things. Reminds me of Paco Underhill’s marvelous book WHY WE BUY.

This image is an outtake of sorts from one of my Narragansett sessions in the studio. In a creative slump I pulled the camera from its pedestal (tripod) and got even closer. “As close as you can get to a glass of Bailies without getting wet”… roughly paraphrased from Old Greg… (Mighty Boosh?).

And yeah – the firm specializes in beverage consulting.

    • If I remember correctly it’s entirely backlit by a big soft box with a Profoto head behind it, courtesy of my university.
