Bottled & Free

Yesterday wine, today beer. Yesterday smooth, today frustration-ridden. Radio transmitters with suboptimal performance, melting plexiglass, photographer’s block (like writer’s block?), etc… But alas… some real education of self awareness and understanding how setbacks and immediate headaches affect my creative output. Very interesting…

The bottles aren’t perfectly spaced. There’s dust and scratches in the reflecting material, the “Best By” dates are printed on the bottles, and all around this is nowhere near a polished piece of pixels.

BUT! There’re some redeeming qualities. I quite like the composition, if it is a bit on the simple side. Very graphic. And the pour itself in this shot ain’t bad. There’s a nice splash, and it does successfuly capture the fluid in sharpness and detail (which I had failed to do in my last “pour shot” attempt).

It’ll get better, I promise.
