The White Ceiling

In an ongoing survey of party photography originating in Burlington, VT, I present… this!

A strange view from below, perhaps revealing some of the undertones of the party atmosphere. Some turned away, staring off to distant walls. Others peering down to the lens below. All lit from the illuminated ceiling above.

Something about it just does it for me. A bunch of figures cast against a mostly white background. With some decor adorning the edges – solo cups, college-y posters, even Bud Light in hand.
