In the ‘House
Couldn’t help but grab a quick shot in the warehouse today after the new optics arrived. The fisheye. The lens you look through that makes you feel so woefully inadequate with your mere human peripheral vision. It’s almost hard not to get my feet in the frame when shooting… an issue I have never encountered before.
If you can imagine for a second, Man Left’s elbow is less than a foot from the camera. That means yours truly is all bent over standing right next to him, seemingly inspecting the stitching on his hoodie. The question “am I even in that frame” (paraphrased) came up because from the subject’s perspective it looks like I’m totally disregarding their presence.
And so it begins… the era of fisheye toting Gus.
