CURRENT STATUS

I will complete my degree in Business at Northeastern University in the first four months of 2012, then head to Cuba for a month as a TA for my photo professors. I will also be taking a night class on portrait photography whilst continuing my daily photo pursuits, albeit with a more strategic focus on people, product, and architecture.

From July-December 2011 I worked as a research analyst at a niche management consulting firm in Boston. With both long and short term projects focused on growth strategies for CPG companies, day-to-day work involved Excel-heavy data analysis, travel to key markets for primary data collection, and the creation of presentations headed straight to sales presidents at Fortune 100 powerhouses.

From July-December 2010 I moved to Chicago to work for an industrial B2B distributor called Gexpro (formerly General Electric Supply Logistics) that specialized in vendor managed inventory services to manufacturers. While there, I tracked branch metrics, implemented an improved packaging system to eliminate client billing headaches, and made a two-minute video about the overall experience that won 1st place in Northeastern University’s Coolest Co-op Video Contest. PHOTO/VIDEO RESUME

Recent photo commissions include head shots of top administrators at Northeastern University, fashion images for a jewelry designer, marketing photos for local musicians, retail storefronts for a commercial property broker, and engagement shots for a couple’s save-the-date postcard.

Recent video commissions include event coverage of a gin tasting at Eastern Standard and promotional exhibition overviews for Panopticon Gallery.

Work has appeared in such publications as the Boston Globe, Boston Phoenix, and COG Magazine

Photo blog featured twice on the WordPress Homepage (Freshly Pressed) – the listing on 1/7/10 touted it as one of the eleven “best of 322,779 bloggers,578,135 new posts, 420,297comments, & 106,331,613 words today on WordPress.com.”

Featured on A PHOTO EDITOR 1/4/10 for a unique approach I took to address the unlicensed use of my photo on a corporate website.

My work has made it into the annual juried student show at Northeastern University two years running.

Video work featured on Lensbaby’s 2010 demo reel (showcasing the unique optics of their lenses), and in the 2010 NYC Fashion Week show for NUMBER:Lab.
