Up & Up

A bit of observation from the bricks. An exterior vignette, so to speak. An arrangement of line and shadow with a glint of painted iron reflected from a nearby streetlight.

It’s an image that looks very different at different sizes. At the blog-in-browser size, it looks pretty much like what it is. Some railing and steps. But when made thumbnail size (hit “Ctrl” and “-” a bunch of times) it goes more more graphic. Almost logo-like.

Whatever the case, I’m getting to shoot on the hill most nights (and the occasional day). I’ve moved beyond the “whoa”-ness of it all, in that it’s all sunk in over the last two weeks and it feels more normal. And now my eyes are opened up much more to the little details, what’s noticed after intently walking down the same street ten times. It’ll be interesting to see what a couple of months’ll do.

Tuesday beckons, from the Beacon.
