After the Rain

Bit of a rainy Saturday here in the upper Eastern edge of this fair country. More soothing than any music, or perhaps in a different category altogether, the sound of rain. Of the breeze through wet trees and the millions of minuscule splashes.

Driving forces behind this shoot. Realization that raincoat had a bold collar. Rain-wetted hair. Nearly new haircut. Desire to play with camera-mounted single flash.

I’m not sure what I think about the white strip at the right. Originally I didn’t have it in. Then I included it. Thought it might spruce up the edge, add a little graphic element. Mostly now I just think it looks messy and unintentional. Something to think about.

Rainy Sunday too?
