The universal expression of “just got punched in the face.” Pure and simple. Distilled to its painful core. If I recall well, this fight was a bit uneven, and the receiver of force in this photo was exhibiting plenty of signals that humans utilize for non-verbally communicating a deep feeling of “I’m screwed. But that’s life. For six minutes anyway.”
[imagine three-minute pause of in-head search for what to compose] I keep coming back to the hand at left. [unsure of whether or not readers/consumers care about whatever I'm blathering on about in the image] Leading lines or something, contrast of painful emotion vs. stoicism, the fleeting nature of experience and bigger-picture impact on life, etc. [that's enough, more than enough] [perhaps a textbook example of unwanted abundance] [wrote that in part just to slip in my favorite word, 'abundance']
Bet he slept well.

Your prose is enjoyable to read regardless of subject. Hopefully that comes across as a compliment.
