Walking and dodging rain, indulging in multi-pound burritos as the tempest fades and then recurs. Four hours on foot today, more than enough to get from my near-suburban abode to any locale in Boston. From anywhere I can see the skyscrapers that dot the land, destinations that always seem further than they are.
