The Approach

*something’s up with the formatting – had to change the text to red.

Walking and dodging rain, indulging in multi-pound burritos as the tempest fades and then recurs. Four hours on foot today, more than enough to get from my near-suburban abode to any locale in Boston. From anywhere I can see the skyscrapers that dot the land, destinations that always seem further than they are.

Still mining Saturday’s boxing for content, and frankly still working my way through it. There is much of it. And I’m not sure what I think about this image except that it stood out to me at the same point that I became too tired to edit any more.

Apparently boxing is big in Cuba. Way big. It just may yield a project if I can leverage some kindness and interest into access to the insides of gyms unseen from streets, to ring-side posts at weekend fights. We’ll see in a couple weeks.

Thoughts or something.
