Another glimpse of glimpsers. Of those that overlook. Of the see-ers of spectacle. Of the human abacus of sport viewing.
This harkens back to my Pairs series (Linked Here) from a past polo tournament in New York. Really one of my favorite bodies of work, cranked out over a long day in the Brooklyn sun. So I’ve got something of a soft spot for documenting those captive saps that are all drugged out on polo.
It’s them, the man-made geometric environment (with the vein-like trees sprouting across the way), the bags, bikes, shoes, mallets, etc.
Visions of paradise.
