Kids these days. I met the bride during a string of summer parties and from that a proposal to photograph the ceremony of the proposed-to emerged. Decidedly non-traditional, a six person wedding with the vows relayed next to the triceratops skeleton at Boston’s Museum of Science.
My first wedding as a photographer. The photographer. I and tried my best to keep it superficial-free. Much leveraging of charm was used to draw genuine feelings of joy from the crowd. I forget what was said here, but it worked.
Perhaps most thrilling of all was sitting on this concrete ledge to get this angle. To my right, a festivous group of best friends entranced in celebration. To my left, a perilous 45 foot fall to certain death. Thankfully my sense of balance is fine tuned and reliable, though dangling the second camera over the void was a bit distressing (strangely, confidently invigorating).
Caitlin, Barry, best of luck to you!
