A bit of footwork here, observed underfoot scenes, perhaps visual footnotes of a quaint journey? Worked a half day (got in early to play with some overcast interiors imaging), got out and shot storefronts down Newbury’s entirety, photographed the subway station, and kept clicking all the way home. Much variety. Much goodness.
A bit of a collage here, a veritable mini project. My newfound need to be able to shoot buildings’ exteriors with geometric precision has expanded my general photographic knowledge into an entirely new domain. Straight lines in life, the parallels of our dear world, only show up straight in two dimensions if you really work at it. I had never had to work at this until recently. Now I do, and it’s obsessive.
And not perfect, not here at least. It’s glance-straight. Everything’s rectangles and regular polygons. Either that or I’ve forgotten how to properly use my rudimentary geometry vocabulary.
New shoes, treating me well on this wet day.
