Straight and Organic

The Minneapolis is upon me. But its abundant activities hath delayed the importation of today’s creations. There’s some particularly interesting shots from the plane’s porthole. That’ll come.

A bit of geometric play here. The natural, that which groweth from the earth, is never perfectly straight, is seen in the brambled branches at right. The man-made efficiency-mandated perfectly straight lines that coursing with electricity are seen at all angles at middle. And at left is nature brutally tamed, a once wild trunk now straightened into power servitude.

Not entirely sure about the coloration, but it reminds me of some of my work from day’s past. Muted with a limited but distinct palette.

Knot tomorrow.
