A bit of Boston Bike Polo for ya’ll. Been a while. Or … perhaps at least two days. A while since these figureheads of the polo scene have been featured at least. I just keep posting photos of pretty girls on bikes. Here we have less pretty dudes off bikes. Just fisting on the outskirts (ha).
Whatever the case, this prime lens I picked up for event photography has served me well in broadening my non-event photography. The most noticeable part of it here is in the circular spots of light in the background – any bit of out-of-focus brightness just gets the circle treatment.
These dudes though – they make it happen. Two of Boston’s primary polo elite – and two close friends that I’ve known nearly since landing in this ciuadad in 2007. Travelled to NYC, Florida, DC, Milwaukee, and beyond for tournaments alongside these fellows.
All about hand protection.
