White Picket

My first reaction to this image is the remembrance of the recently viewed Melancholia movie by Señor Trier. Much less gruesome than Antichrist by the way. And incredibly photographic in its cinematography – so many of the scenes/shots were, I thought, stronger as still images and were certainly lit like it.

But the second world here is just a crescent of light, a waning gibbous perhaps, on a plastic dashboard. That’s all I’ve got, coffee’s all but worn off.
