Round two of fiddling with aluminum painted product, the edgy and prodigiously distributed Red Bull. I did drink one the other day whilst on the road and I can’t say it did anything more than a cup of coffee. Which is nothing, no consciously perceptible change in physiological state of being. A desirable flavor, but just like coffee it doesn’t wake me up so much as it may have contributed to me not feeling tired. Hard to tell.
I may play with this a bit more, the reflecting of images into the product. Midway through the shoot this came to me (recalling some brainstorming at work the other day), but I really wanted to light the entire product with reflected images. Not a simple task given the inherent roundness of this object.
It was a nice surprise to see the lips line up nicely with the halfway mark in the can. I didn’t even notice that until I reviewed the also-nice continuation of the reflected chin.
Onwards.
