One flash, after semi-recovering from its ceiling fan incident, took bad today. The plastic glue just couldn’t keep its fragile HDPE limb on any longer. A new foot is in the mail, time to find the tiny screwdrivers in preparation for some flash surgery.
Today I intended to purely experiment with the new modifiers I picked up. Figure out how they cast, where to best place, yadda yadda yadda and I didn’t even shave. No immortality was supposed to be created today, but alas a couple great shots were made.
Interestingly, all the aforementioned goodness came from substantial post processing as seen here. Total throwaway photos (though with good composition) were transformed into some pretty neat stuff. I think I may hit lynda.com again and really hit the p’shop hard, if only to give myself more creative flexibility.
Reverse. Vignetting.
