Some part of me wants to start sculpting stuff out of concrete. Or rather casting. There’s something about concrete that is so substantial, permanent. Especially concrete furniture. We’ll see.
But here we’ve got some pretty standard concrete walls, lining the inaugural stair to a multi-story structure that enables human elevation. With the wooden banisters, it’s a pairing of color that I am definitely all about.
Drooling over concrete aside, the most interesting thing here is the sky above the reflected buildings. It appears that there’s a nice blue sky over their tops, but when you look from the top of the image down, that same darker area just appears to be shadowed concrete. Sky or mere darkness?
