The Photography Club’s second meeting is tomorrow. I have no idea what I’m going to present. I’ll figure something out. Maybe some of my China work, perhaps some select cuts from the Container Ship. Mostly I’m excited to see if there will be anything approaching what could be considered to be a turnout… like, more than five people.
I nearly adore this image. It’s so incredibly close to perfection, at least at my level. Do you see it? Do I even see it now? Am I being a bit too critical?
I love the hand in the hair and the forearm behind her facade. The legs are brilliant with the one toe lightly touching down. The lighting, coming in from both sides to create some great contours is right up my alley.
What doesn’t work for me is the hand at center. It seems out of place. The arm leading to it is good, but that hand doesn’t seem right somehow. Pretty serious gripe eh?
So great.
