Wintry Mix Wednesday
Whilst walking the wide wonder of Wanhattan (ok, Manhattan), I happened upon one of my bike polo comrades. Struck by the urge, I asked to photograph him and voila. A portrait.
There’s some immediate foreground action with the fire hydrant and leading sidewalk line. Then the subject, and right behind him a stop sign. It’s this ten foot thick slice of rich detail, and beyond that everything is kind of minimized into the distance. Mmm.
The wintry mix is forecasted to continue into Thursday, dissolving in time for a lovely weekend in Boston. And all was well.

A fine portrait indeed. Looks like the High Linen in the background, about 10th and 17th or thereabouts.
