This, my friends, is Shanghai at night. On foot after a brief rain in the late evening, walking along the subway tracks about two stations down from my university there (SUFE). That ability to wander out and roam might be what I miss most from Shanghai. While I’m free to roam here in Boston, and love it, it’s on a different level when you’re in an entirely different world, or at least when you’re halfway around the one we’ve got.
I just might have to put some more effort into seeking overseas living.
