Today my hat blew off my head. It’s long gone, a mile away, on a dark bridge with cold wind that blew hard enough to influence your footsteps. And also with such gusto as to alleviate my dome insulation without me even noticing, like a supersonically fast band-aid removal. I was wearing two hats, to be fair, with the inner most cap being a bit slippery in fabric.
On my recent walks home after class I’ve been shooting stuff like this. It’s gotten to the point where I feel I’ve exhausted much of what I can shoot given the streets I frequent, so I’ve found myself taking alternate routes in hopes of finding different streetlights and window displays.
Experiment enough and this stuff happens. And it’s wonderful.
And I need to get a new hat.
