
The Treadmark
The roads in Minneapolis are all lined by white banks of snow that rise in pyramidal shapes. Strangely beautiful. It’s as if the roads were carved into the earth, sunken passageways tailored for motor traffic as homes rise above on either side.
This photo isn’t Minneapolis, but it’s a wonderful showing of what snow can lead to when out and about. Heck, cloudy days are often a godsend when you’re trying to find something new to shoot, but with snow you’re given an entirely new landscape, blanketed in a whole new color that covers what once was.
What I like most here is that this single tire tread looks to be just about the same dimensions as the driveway itself.
