I have just realized that my two monitors don’t just display brightness and black levels differently. They have a truly striking, heart-attack inducing difference in how light green is projected. Left monitor it’s like a dirty beige. Right monitor is like some beautiful ripe avocado. I have nothing but fear in me now, for I have no idea how your screen will show it.
This is from yesterday’s jugglefest, only it’s been cropped such that the single apple I was subjecting to rapid acceleration shortly followed by free fall and occasional unpleasant encounters with the carpet is nowhere to be seen. Of course I see it. And you can see where it would be. It’s going to fall straight down into the hand at left, and I’m looking. right. at it. But it looks more like I’m looking from behind and my name shown on the website.
I quite like the shadows, slightly offset and nice’n strong. The hair shadow is particularly up my alley. Everything else is bathed in the golden radiance of a flash bounced off of a similarly colored reflector, though my good friend Software also shape the look a bit.
How you like them apples?
